Wild Toronto art collected over the last few weeks.

Saturday night snow in Toronto
A richly coloured stained glass window on an attractive grey brick-faced church. It is backlit by warm light, making all the colours more vivid. All around, fluffy snow floats down. The same stained glass window and church as in the first picture, but from further away. Some time has passed, and the snow is falling more heavily but no less luxuriously. The church rooftop is evenly blanketed.

tune out now. on recurring dreams - had them my remembered life, but with evolving narratives/themes. overtime, they made a map. and we keep data in this house. why bring it up? a new location emergent over the last few months, the backwoods.

The other three notebooks are A5 size and have three different styles of binding. The first is pamphlet stitched and has a black cover with orange thread binding it. The other two are Japanese stab bound, and have black and violet thread. Some bookbinding tools (an awl, a bone folder, alligator clips) are scattered around.

Bookbinding #4! More Japanese stab binding, this time with five holes and a bit of decorative violet.

Bookbinding attempt #3! Kachow. A riff on Japanese stab binding.
A handmade notebook on a cutting mat. The book is externally bound with violet waxed linen thread in a style derivative of Japanese stab binding. The same notebook as in the first picture, but spread open by a metal ruler to show the interior pages.
