Where have the conservatives gone? We're spiraling towards a third world country and they can't even stand up for clean air, water, food and lands?

I'm sure Scott turns some listeners off with his crass sense of humor but, he redeems himself with this one.
Our media and podcasters are burying the lede. Trump promised global stability and instead the world is tearing itself apart in our absence. He has ceded the field to any and everyone else. Seems only logical that India and Pakistan, China and Taiwan, will flare again too.

There are bright spots.
The most inspiring chapters in our nation's history came when Americans faced down some of our country's darkest demons.
Those moments, like our own, were difficult to live through but also brought the chance to bring out the best in us, with enduring consequences.

The U.S. was founded in opposition to monarchy. We fought for democracy over dictatorship.

In my lifetime, you used to be able to dismantle and reassemble an entire car-engine on a kitchen table. Now, several computers are in the way of that.
So much power has been yielded up to complexity, no wonder people want their simplicity back.
