Never ceases to amaze me how white murders can be picked up by police unscathed but Black children and adults who are innocent and non-violent are murdered by police on a regular basis.

The number of male teachers is shrinking—and the effects on boys' learning, behavior, and identity may be deeper than we realize. This new piece from educator @davonloeb.bsky.social is a must-read: www.edutopia.org/article/with...

Yup.
I just want you guys to hear Beyoncé’s searing version of the Star Spangled Banner segueing straight into “Freedom,” my favorite song of hers.

She is the opposition leader for me at this point, and the artist of my lifetime.

My feeling is that it's not unserious to spend time on the question of whether someone about to be hired for one of the most powerful jobs in the world drugged and raped a woman (as she alleges and he denies)

I keep thinking about those congresspeople kneeling in the rotunda wearing kente cloth scarves, very performative. There has been no loud, visible, unified support for Sarah McBride from the democrats. It’s a real disgrace. That is your colleague! They are bullying her in your faces. And silence!
