Thanks. I do watch those but I was thinking more in terms of studio consolidation. This isn't great but better than Paramount

Netflix is the best option of a bunch of bad options. Ideally it shouldn't be sold but Zaslov is going to do his thing and doesn't really care.

One thing I learned in Hyderabad is do not make eye contact. Which is kind of hard coming from Los Angeles.

What's the solution then? How would students learn to use it responsibly and effectively? Where will they fit in and be competitive to the workplace w/o knowing how to use it?
AI Rollout has been irresponsible on the part of industry but how else to address it? It's not going away.

Maybe not rolling back passenger protections for late or cancelled flights would help with civility on flights.

I'm willing to bet he got turned down for a date by a latina in high school and has since gone scorched earth.

Cornell folded hard. I don't understand how these institutions can do this so easily. Are they hoping to just wait it out until a new admin cancels these agreements?
November 7, 2025 at 8:10 PM
Why would anyone give someone more money saying that? It has to one of the most batshit insane reasons anyone ever gave to get more money.
November 7, 2025 at 12:08 AM
You left out the ritualistic sacrifice. Are we not doing that anymore?
November 6, 2025 at 10:31 PM
Agreed, although its hard to focus on that b/c just about anything the president does is worthy of being the biggest story at the moment based on whatever laws are currently being broken by this admin.

Still so mad they cancelled SW Battlefront 3

The Galaxy barely played on the MLS this year but they could have still been on the map

I'm not sure these NDA's are even legal, not that it stops this admin. There was discussion about this in his first admin and they didn't stand up.

My wife is encouraging towards me playing them but also "you're really bad at this" comments to keep me grounded.

Went to my first convention, a Star Trek Convention at the Disneyland hotel in '85. Women were very well represented and many in costumes. I don't know what this guy is talking about.

No we should not get rid of the stock market, but if we set the tax rate high enough as it has been in the past, billionaires will be forced to invest a greater percentage of income. What we are seeing now is that income mostly being hoarded.

Eat. Most people are making decisions where to spend money, not what they do with specific money saved from lower cost items. That kind of thing just allows reprioritizing expenses.
October 24, 2025 at 2:27 AM
Yeah it's hard. Doing what we can though
October 23, 2025 at 9:22 PM
There is so much more to come. This is just the beginning.
October 23, 2025 at 8:14 PM
The last is probably true, but also not tried. Congress isn't saying anything although they're supposed to.
