I buy a new pair of LEMS every year, wear them 340+ times, then buy another pair. So yeah, I’ll be wearing the pair on the right till next August.

My Mum just pulled out a coin collection I didn’t know we had. This coin is from the reign of Constantius II (son of Constantine the Great), and was minted in Antioch. Cool huh?

This wasp stung me – on my lace. But the silly sucker’s stinger got stuck (say that quickly!) and he couldn’t extricate himself. Ha.

I was staring at this during church today, remembering that while we (quite reasonably) fear weakness, ignominy, helplessness, suffering, and death, Jesus defeated sin and the grave through experiencing them.

10 years ago, a white guy who wanted to start a race war went to Emanuel AME Church (the first Black-led church in the South, founded in 1817) and killed nine of the people who had welcomed him in to their Bible Study.
