<div class="field field-field-text"><p>The Israeli military on Wednesday said that it struck several sites in southern Lebanon.</p>
<p>In a statement issued on Telegram, the military said, "As part of these strikes, the IDF dismantled Hezbollah military structures and additional terrorist infrastructure from which Hezbollah terrorists had recently operated."</p>
<p>Despite a ceasefire that came into force in November last year, Israel continues to carry out near-daily strikes in southern Lebanon. </p>
<p>On 30 October, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun instructed the commander of the army to "confront any Israeli incursion into southern Lebanon", after Israeli forces crossed the border, entered a municipal building in the southern town of Blida and killed an employee. </p>
