Starting out on children’s social care. Dog dad.
And that is why the battle is already lost.

There is a consistent failure to call out that the Emperor indeed has no clothes.

And fascinating to see how all politicians (Ed Davey aside) react if the BBC make a payment to Trump.

I suspect the pushback will only come once all is lost.

And it will come in the form of handwringing and regret from those in power who did nothing to stop all this.

You know, this isn’t such a daft idea for all UK media….

It’s like watching the Biden Administration slow-walking the Trump criminal cases all over again.

And all of this is being allowed to happen.

We are all frogs boiling in that pot.

Are about to see Lisa Nandy not recognise the fight that is coming and allow a massive lurch to the right at the BBC under her watch?

Somehow they’ll spin themselves as the victims.
October 25, 2025 at 5:57 PM

I’m not sure they can really be called Labour anymore - a case for Trading Standards?
October 21, 2025 at 7:41 AM
It’s how it survives - it slightly updates itself just enough to remain a bit out of fashion.

I suspect he enjoyed that.

As someone sat snuffling on his sofa with a two line covid test on the counter, I feel seen. 🤧
October 10, 2025 at 4:58 PM
I think we’re past that. I hope you’re right, but I think that hate and blame are proving to be huge drivers in the choices people are making.

I wonder what it is about teaching facts, critical thinking, kindness and tolerance that Farage finds so unpalatable?
October 9, 2025 at 4:30 PM
We should know that we are putting our faith in a clearly insane and unreliable old man because we want this horror to stop. And there’s a problem in doing that.
October 8, 2025 at 9:01 PM
What’s the bets he’s fired by the end of the week?
September 30, 2025 at 4:03 PM
Yes, but you are a professor! 😂
September 29, 2025 at 7:22 PM
I felt the same - saw it finally a few weeks ago. Very glad I’d read up on the story/history as it would be difficult to follow without. But what a great show!
