What a bonkers night last night was! I entered my 1st ever poetry slam, as part of ‘Dracula Returns to Derby’. Somehow, I won.

The final frog. One last leap.
Unfortunately it was released a day or two before the publisher closed so it didn’t exactly leap majestically into the air and land in the pond with a mighty splash. It was more of a belly flop onto a damp lily pad.

12- ROAR OF THE DINNERSAUR (2019) When this book came out it was tiny & not quite the lavishly illustrated grand picture book that I was promised. Also, the publishers didn’t advertise it one little bit! Oh well, you can’t win them all I guess! Still a fun read though…
