So has everyone gotten all the sandwich puns out of their system yet?

This is utterly deranged.
Well looks like they met for this — Ed Martin sent a letter to the FBI agent who testified during Alex Jones trial about seeing the Sandy Hook children dead. Martin asked if the agent had a financial incentive.

The rest is hard to parse. Martin wrote asking to keep the letter private.

I personally cannot wait for Ice-T to explain the term "groyper" on an episode of next season's Law and Order:SVU.

Northern Ireland man from Lisburn kidnapped by Trump’s Ice raids because he “looked like a Mexican”. He had the correct visa, all his documents. He’s never been in trouble with police.

Held in terrible conditions. A fellow captive couldn’t get his medication and dropped dead of a heart attack
Horrors of Trump detention centre: Lisburn man tells his story after arrest for 'looking like a Mexican'

Lee Stinton was lifted by US immigration police on an American street — in an incident he compared to a kidnapping.

This seems to come up every time there is a discussion about team names based on racial or ethnic identities, so as an alum let me try to explain why the "Fighting Irish" moniker is not the same as "Redskins."
This just feels like willful ignorance.

After agreeing that "Redskins" is an unacceptable name for the Washington football team, David Leonhardt wonders, "Hey, what about the Fighting Irish?"

John McWhorter is equally mystified.

Since May:

Federal district courts have ruled against Trump admin 94% of the time.

Supreme Court has sided with the Trump admin 94% of the time.

A judiciary at war with itself.

The behavior detailed in the whistleblower report would be considered too fantastical for an ethics CLE hypothetical, and has just received the implicit blessing of the USSC in its decision yesterday.
This man has been nominated by Trump for a judicial appointment. Hearing on Weds

"Senior Justice Department official, Emil Bove III, told subordinates he was willing to ignore court orders in order to fulfill the president’s aggressive deportation campaign, according to a whistle-blower complaint."
