I'm helping companies reduce their AWS bill by 90% (by leaving AWS and going hybrid).

Yes, my username is a reference to ELO’s classic rock anthem “Mr. Blue Sky”.
Instagram kept telling me to follow people, then saying that I’m not able to follow more. I know so many people who are Zucc’d in various ways for no apparent reason.

I can’t believe it’s gone on this long with this much abuse and lack of caring about the user experience…

I love the Cornucopia Institute and their scorecards for organic dairy and meats!

They also have a lot of great info for finding companies that aren't owned by the 10 largest consolidated BigAg lobbyists (6/10 have been buying up smaller sustainable brands)

Duolingo feels... if you've ever used the app and had alerts turned on.

Meta is trying to make sure 2024 looks more like 1984

(I'm not endorsing Reason as a publication - this is just an objective facts-based article and I wasn't able to find a similarly comprehensive source)

The Spacing Guild being left out of Villeneuve’s Dune is more than just a huge omission. The viewer is missing context in so many ways…. None of the characters or groups have any motivation other than “bad” or “good”. Every thematic element has been stripped out completely. Pretentious garbage.

AI “ethics” and “safety” are a Trojan horse.

AI compute power should be a utility like electricity. You don’t want models from Google or OpenAI, nor do you want to train them and give up your queries.

Westworld highlights the dangers of *you* as the willing AI training victim

No brakes on the Wanikani train! I'm not stopping until I learn every last kanji. Wanikani doesn't provide furigana so it's going to be really easy to weeb out and read manga soon.

I'm not getting distracted this time. Japanese is my hobby now!

Another Bluesky spotting in the wild... I think the universe is trying to tell me something!

I was literally thinking about Bluesky and saw this Blue Sky snow truck while here in VA. It’s always nice to have a moment of pure serendipity like this! What could it mean???

My other dog, Copper. He’s a Pomeranian mix and didn’t want to be left out of my Bluesky photo testing!

Harley getting ready to come home from the vets for the first time. She’s a survivor! 💜💜

Harley’s bother Oliver (Ollie), one of my pups. They’re both Border Collie mixes, and Harley went to my cousins after being rescued at a young age.

This is Harley. Not only did she survive severe dehydration and illness as a puppy, she was recently attacked by an off-leash pitbull and then a Doberman in less than a year! She’s all better now, and it warms my heart to see her thriving!
