Yes it is, just as soon as you add them to the auto insurance policies.

My two middle (19, 18) also have no desire to drive. Maybe they'll flip the script on me soon like yours did?

Yours it at 10 on a Tuesday? Mine is at noon on the first Saturday of every month, which totally isn't at all disturbing when you've forgotten it's a new month and you're walking the dogs ... 😅

I was blessed to spend some time with him many years back, when I was on staff at conventions in Orlando. Super cool dude, was willing to talk about anything with anybody, and listened intently to every word he heard. Me his memory bring joy and inspire light mischief.

Do not trust politicians to get us out of this mess. They might, but they've proven unreliable.

Find your local peeps. Grow your community. Help your community.

SO MAYBE STOP ADVANCING THE FASCIST NOMINEES OUT OF COMMITTEE AND ACTUALLY ACT LIKE YOU GIVE A DAMN ABOUT ANYBODY OUTSIDE THE CAPITAL BUILDING!

Some intel: I've talked to journalists and folks on the Hill about this. Last night after OMB's action, some Senate Dems tried to unify the caucus to vote against Duffy. Schumer, among others, opposed it, and it flopped.

The current Dem leadership strategy is to use strong language but not do shit.
Yesterday, every Democrat voted to advance Sean Duffy (DOT)'s nomination.

In protest against Trump's unconstitutional freezing of federal funds, 22 Democrats voted NO on confirmation today.

Glad to see more demonstrated urgency. But that 22 should be 47.

Thank you, my friend.

I delivered a "shape up or ship out" speech to the whole house, and magically things started being cleaned and chores started getting done.

They've not said anything outright, but the change in behavior says everything to me.

Happy to hear it, my friend! We all deserve tasty food right now.

The sweet tart of the pineapple nicely complements the bits of umami and heat one gets from the elote. I've had essentially the same dish as a rice bowl, and it was awesome!

You do.

A delivery truck got stuck in the snow in my driveway last night, so today has been alternating between working on work and clearing safe paths in the driveway.

It's day 17 of snowpack. There's no end in sight. It's magical.

I hope it's relatively gentle and folks can stay isolated. We had Norovirus hit the AP household last week. None of the 8 of us escaped it, with a peak on Thursday of 7 of us all in various stages of it.

Thank you. And no, it does not.

Oh man. I've never been around Downtown Disney / Disney Springs during race weekends, but for a long long time there Downtown Disney was one of my favorite low-cost places to visit when I lived there.

They started out that way. They've regressed, and I've not held them to task.

I've also been working 60+ hour weeks, we've had several major emergencies (both house and health) in the 2 years since we moved to OH, and we're trying to Reno the house.

They just slowly stopped acting like they cared.

I've been more than reasonable. I've been a pushover. Not any longer. I can't risk letting them continue to disregard the health and safety of the house for their social lives. Full stop. They get on board or they leave in a U-Haul.

How's that for reasonable?

Considering they drive my car and are on my cell phone plan, they don't want to leave. They don't want to lose those free perks. They don't want to lose being 20-somethings with no bills and built in babysitting for the 5 year old.

But it will be their choice. Their actions will speak for them.
