Also, where is Keir? Davos, the place where world leaders are having a real chance to put a leash on Trump because it’s vital for world security… and our leader is nowhere to be seen. If he doesn’t helicopter in today and slap Trump about, then he’s complicit.

This is not a normal diplomatic spat. The US is now a dangerous global threat & can’t be trusted now. Stronger responses are the right ones & needed to protect the UK, not keeping the threat on our doorstep. Safety lies with the EU & defence ties cut with the US. @zackpolanski.bsky.social is right.

It’s what happens when you have an ideology built on sand.

It needs to keep going. Given to deserving people for years to come. So that the tangerine testicle can’t say that it was stopped because there’d be no one else deserving of it more than him ever again.

In any case, it’s not ‘lumping people together’, it’s acknowledging those who should be condemning the US actions versus those who aren’t. There can’t be a middle ground on this.

Still doesn’t make it right to illegally invade Venezuela, does it now. The rest of the world is now waiting for someone to invade the US and capture its corrupt leader.

This is what stuck in my craw, not only the act itself - but the in depth military presentation about how amazing it was. They literally bombed an unsuspecting country and passed it off as complex military theatre never done before.

It’s disgusting Zack, worse that they claim to represent our views.

This is a terrible position from the Prime Minister. By letting this run we show our support for it, and fuel the danger of this kind of lawless behaviour happening anywhere, to anyone.

Seriously? Email your MP if you condemn what’s happened AND to let them know ‘the UK’ doesn’t consist of Starmer and his advisors. His voice is not ours.

This very much sounds like you’re going along with it. Surely regarding international law the first point of order should be condemning the US act and focusing on that. By talking about transition you are setting an incredibly dangerous precedent.

I’d respect this charitable act more if it were building accommodation for homeless people on their vast tracts of land with their vast amounts of money.
