ICE is using a Palantir tool that uses Medicaid and other government data to stalk people for arrest. This is exactly the kind of data privacy abuse that EFF has been warning about.

BREAKING: A few minutes ago, a vehicle of three people was rammed by a truck belonging to federal immigration authorities in Boyle Heights, CA. According to security footage shown to me, they deployed chemical munitions & detained the driver at gunpoint. All are US citizens according to the wife.

Who should do the fact checks with millions and millions of fake news? The nature of social media itself is the problem. However it probably is impossible to get rid of every social network and revert debates to pre 2010-status.

This is terrifying to read how a UK citizen was seized &incarcerated in the USA whilst on a tourist visa & the people she met there with similar tales. Detention centres are lucrative businesses with no incentive for people to be released at huge cost to US taxpayers. I don’t recommend visiting US
I was a British tourist trying to leave America. Then I was detained, shackled and sent to an immigration detention centre
