Jam filled sugar cookies. My sugar cookie recipe—rolled out thinner than if you were going to frost them, with a dollop of homemade jam (I used peach, apricot, and raspberry) topped with a 2nd cut out. Baked, then covered with some icing sugar once cooled. Such a hit with my fam.

I made a ‘Mont Blanc’ themed Yule Log for our family holiday celebration as dessert. It was pretty delicious!
*vanilla genoise sponge
*chestnut crème and whipped cream/mascarpone fillings
*chocolate buttercream frosting
*vanilla meringue kiss cookies for decor/that meringue necessity!
