Jefferson believed that Jesus was the greatest moral teacher who lived, but did not believe he was divine and edited the miracles out of his copy of the New Testament because it could not be proven rationally.
Speaker Johnson began the House with a fabricated prayer to Jesus Christ he claims Thomas Jefferson recited every day of his 8 years in the Presidency. Jefferson did no such thing.
