Donnie had better be careful with that. If he can reverse Biden's pardons, the next Dem POTUS can reverse his. And Trump's are much more controversial.

The lesson here seems to be that if one is going to be corrupt, be corrupt on a grand scale. By the time Trump's administration is over, it will be almost impossible to total up the dollar value of the grift and the graft.

Generally agree. But go to 17 -- each case heard by 9 chosen at random, as part of a larger reform of the court system that would increase the number of circuits to 16 by dividing the 9th into three and the 5th into two. One Justice per circuit, rotating each term. Chief Justice only administers.

Canucks were 0-for-7 on the power play. (We won't count the extra one they got with 1.5 seconds to go.) 11 penalties called on the Sharks, including six in the last few minutes of the game. Vancouver wasn't lacking for opportunities.

It's a terrific buy. Even on sale, it's hard to find it for much less than 75 cents a box. This works out to about 30 cents a box. You can add things to it like tomatoes, various vegetables, and chicken/turkey/pork or hamburger to make a nice little stove top casserole.

Another big one coming up early next year. I get lots of emails from Chris Taylor, running to solidify the majority of sensible, fair and balanced jurists on the Wisconsin SC.

Of course, the Dems who ARE in Alabama and some of these other very red states could get off their backsides and VOTE. There are enough of them to actually win elections there, but they apparently don't care enough to do anything about their lousy government. Stop relying on $$ from the party.

CBS News was once the gold standard. Its reputation in news is still pretty good. What Weiss is going to accomplish is to blow up CBS's ratings. No matter how far to the right she drags it, MAGA types aren't going to leave Faux News and the older people who value truth and accuracy will leave.

He can't be suspended. It would take an impeachment proceeding and a 2/3 vote in the Senate to get him out, which won't happen. If/when the Dems get a trifecta, I wonder if the Congress could create either or "co-Chief Justice" position or even a new position that would rank even higher.

The DOJ has had months to uncover references to Trump's either committing crimes or having plenty of knowledge of what Epstein was doing. There's little chance that those documents will be released. They've either been destroyed or the redactions will be so heavy as to render them meaningless.

There hasn't been any bigger disappointment than the American business community. Its response to deportation and even to the Epstein affair has been, at best, quietly supportive. But even more than that, its lack of pushback against Trump's authoritarian policies and actions has been shameful.

I have absolutely no confidence that the DOJ will release anything that proves problematic for Trump. They're had months to locate and hide incriminating evidence. A corrupt DOJ protecting a corrupt POTUS.

It's a great example of finding a parade, grabbing a baton, and running out in front of it to make it look like he's leading it. It wasn't likely that there would have been more than a handful of votes in the House against the bill to release the Epstein files. And Donny knows it.

The DOJ has had more than enough time to remove anything that would truly incriminate Trump. Or, at least, redact references to him in any document showing complicity or other wrongdoing. I don't trust the DOJ any farther than I can throw the building housing it.

Even if/when the files are released, does anybody have any confidence that we will see ALL of them? Given what the DOJ knows, it's likely that anything implicating Trump will either be redacted or hidden altogether. There's no way of knowing whether or not they've released everything.
