Why didn't he shoot the tyres? The most obvious thing to do if you really want to stop someone. I mean, I am no gun expert but presume those bullets would penetrate the car tyres?

No problem with this. People forget how much of our info is already in circulation: online shopping, credit card usage, bookings etc. Let's have one thing to prove our identity and be able to do business easily. Just think of thousands pieces of paper needed now just to prove identity for basics.

TY for this. I don't "look different" but am not British; in this country for 25 yrs. Occasional accent 'slip' signifies my "foreignness". On drive to work today I spotted first flags where I live. Knot in my stomach is still there... I can't imagine what it feels like for you; all of it dreadful.

For pity sake - stop knee-jerk policy making around Reform. Drown them with important stuff, not pandering to their nonsense. BBC now says the Reform sets the agenda. And @teamlabouruk.bsky.social are letting them do it!
