It's pretty cool that they made a guy who spends all his time lounging and playing (or eating and sleeping that look like lounging and playing) and then also made it the fluffiest thing on earth.

Celebratory Saturn pancakes.

Flawless Victory! We saw Saturn's ring, the shadow under the ring, and two moons. The bump strategy avoidance worked, I had to adjust the scope more to track it than because of a kid. ~90% of the people saw it. (Terrible phone picture)

They say that bakers end up colonized by their sourdough culture, so I can truthfully say that my symbiont is pre-digesting my biopolymer macromolecule.

The way bread dough puffs up overnight never fails to delight me.

One of my kids at age 4 excitedly called it "puffy puff!" and I think that every time I pull off the teacloth to reveal it.

Gemini flash didn't quite understand the assignment, but it still made me crack up.

Tip of the hat to DDLJ for convincing a generation of Indian women (and one in particular) that gregarious foreigners who play the mandolin are cool.

It's crazy that we make artists think about hexadecimal every time they pick a color. It's the most raw sharp edged way that the internals of the computer are still exposed to users.

Oil is the most Lovecraftian thing that actually exists.

You're telling me that there's a black ichor under the earth made from the ancient dead, whose burning can realize all the dreams of man, but only at the price of slowly returning the earth to its primordial state?

Whenever honey bees visit my particularly aromatic flowers, like basil or lavender, I hope that I'm making some nearby beekeepers' honey interesting.
