I like to teach about the questions and process and then dive more deeply into particular perspectives. I want to get people interested then move into the more complicated discussions that come up in particular philosophers' theories.

Grilled cheese is one of the few reasons I now tolerate lactose-free options for cheese. Also ice cream. I missed ice cream.

There might also be a concern with the fact that the "common" names in philosophy are perpetuating "who" can be a philosopher. I worry about the lack of diversity in the list that came up. I would want to help the public understand the diversity of philosophy out there rather than perpetuate bias.

Considering I don't know if many other #philosophers doing qualitative work, I don't think there is a standard. So, looks like it is to the oral history and language departments for me.

Thank you!!

The QR code has been helpful for sharing my work. One day we will be at the same conference. I will be sending the paper for publication after. In the mean time, I'm happy to share the drafts with anyone interested.

Thanks! I will do my best to make it entertaining. It's a bit outside the normal philosophical box when it comes to methodology but allows me to gather data for philosophical questions. I'm hoping to continue this work after I finish my dissertation & do inter/multi/trans-disciplinary work.

Thanks Dr. Bokulich! I'm using #qualitative methods (semi-structured interviews) to get #empirical data for myself & others when it comes to these commitments. I'm also interested structural realism and biology. Working with Dr.s Katie Plaisance and Doreen Fraser. #philosophy #philsci
