Nye Bevan wasn’t just responsible for health, he was also Minister for Housing. More council houses were built in Wales on his watch between 1945 and 1951 than in the entire period since 1975. I wonder what he would have to say about today’s housing and homelessness crisis with 325,000 now homeless.
