Photoswitchable drugs offer immense #photopharmacological opportunities since the isomers can have different pharmacological profiles. #photoswitches need UV or blue light to be modulated. The light has very low penetration depth and these drugs are limited to application conditions in the skin.

Excited to share the publication of our automated characterisation platform for measuring the quantum yield and half life of molecular photoswitches. The method is easy to use and reduce also the needed amount for characterisation.

The views are spectacular, and feels like being part of a Jules Verne book. Wikipedia says 1904, but the telescope plate said made in Paris by Mailhat in 1903.

Had the pleasure to visit the Fabra observatory on Tibidabo mountain last evening. Super experience. We saw Jupiter and 4 moons, and learned a lot about the oldest continuously operating telescope in the world en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabra_O...

I am really proud of this paper, since it illustrates how advanced spectroscopy experiments can be carried out automatically under low oxygen conditions in flow, consuming very small amounts of material.
