Decrying DEI because you think it means hiring unqualified ppl over more deserving candidates while simultaneously hiring cronies with no qualifications or experience of any kind (or supporting those who are) is just maximally hypocritical.

Trinitarians: Is the Trinity like a rock band? Van Halen is a single entity with multiple persons and their music IS VH as well. If this is right, what the heck is the Holy Spirit and in what meaningful sense is it a person? If it's wrong, what's the right rock analogy?

1. multiple definitions of atheist
2. many good religious ppl
3. many reasons to be an atheist (not just not believing)
4. arguments for morality that are unrelated to God
5. reasons to be nice to theists, even when we reject their beliefs.

Thinking about how easy it is for some random person to ruin everything for others through social media. The worst case scenario for any position you defend is always right there. One insignificant story goes viral and makes ppl believe that it's important and common. Insert literally anything here.

Seems like everyone is wondering what to talk about on here so here's a starter... What religion did your family practice growing up and what religion are you now? I'm an atheist since I was 12 (as soon as I knew what that was) but my mom had taken me to a Congregational church before that. Share!
