i’ll have to insist a bit harder but i know he’ll give in and let me. he always does. and he also knows i’ve been talking about it for basically majority of my life (to the point he’s just fed up with it lol). it is genuinely different this time. he’ll get me eventually :)

its relatively harder to start skateboarding, especially if you don’t know anybody in the area who can guide you through it. but i was lucky enough to get into an ice-rink when i was 11, with kids from all classes and ages. i’m so much more confident on the ice and i just KNOW it this time

both him and my sibling started reminding me of the time years ago when i wanted to try skateboarding, and now my board sits in the balcony collecting dust. but they’re dismissing the fact that 1 i DID try skateboarding and was ridiculed for it, and 2 i KNOW how to iceskate already
