This is (one reason) why I’m against generative AI, period. Instead of being able to inherently look at any type of media with joy or trust, I now always have to be vigilant about its authenticity and ethics. Every video, every doodle, every photograph is suspicious. It’s exhausting.
Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

So my friends may have bullied me into playing WoW...
...it is fun! Not quite sure how to play it yet, but it's fun just being a little guy running around shooting spells at people
I don't know a single bit of the lore or anything of what's happening but it all looks cool though!!!

Sometimes it's hard to post things, not because I'm out of ideas, but because every time I post something Ace reads it out to me and its funny and also terrifying don't read the words I wrote back to me I already had to read them to myself writing them down

But what if POWERPOINT!!! WHAT IF A POWERPOINT!! WHAT IF I MADE 500 POWERPOINTS!!
And then the PowerPoint becomes another project to put off so I can make MORE POWERPOINTS TO AVOID IT!

I started watching both Den-O and ToQgers, and the whiplash of seeing Ryotaro being a sad wet cat to the ToQgers being bright and fun and using their imaginations is hilarious
Like, they're both in a cool train, but one of these guys is way more happy about the situation
