Not sure who might benefit from hearing this but: self-checkout is not an example of automation technology (the kind that replaces human labour). The technology is largely the same as what cashiers use. The labour is just downloaded on to customers.

Go with D.O.G.E. (full four-syllable ancronym) instead of DOGE. That dog’s kinda cute and doesn’t deserve association with any of that crap.
