Are they seriously trying to pull a "No Man's Sky"? Someone should tell them they need to actually have commitment and passion for the project in order for that to work, rather than simply performing like it.

This is how I feel when people tell me there are things that they will never understand. I'm like, listen. You just need to find someone who already understands, AND is good at explaining things. Ask them, and they'll get you to understand so fast you'll be like, why didn't I get this sooner?

As a fan of Star Wars for >30 years, and as someone who is not interested in racing games at all, I want to be on top of that swoop bike.

I used gimp. Each frame a different layer, which I then exported as a gif and put into my scene in obs.

As a current VR user, I agree. Alyx was amazing, but HL3 needs to be flat screen. It's what Gordon would want.

I don't doubt you on that, especially when you choose to use the Capital Letters 😄. Even if controller free use remains a dream, that's the one I would choose.

I agree with you. My hope is that we can get some real support behind controllerless hand tracking stuff at some point. The goal for VR should be verisimilitude of interaction in the same way that gaming on screens was pushed towards photorealistic graphics.
