Another desperate warning from medics in Gaza, who’ve seen bullets rip through the canvas of their field hospital tents while doing surgery.
Conditions are appalling and civilians should never be in danger when trying to search for food in a war zone.

"The operation was complex, requiring rigorous security measures to minimise the risks to those involved… and in Gaza, ICRC teams had to manage the dangers posed by unexploded ordnance and destroyed infrastructure."
We facilitated the release and transfer of 3 hostages out of Gaza to Israel, and 90 Palestinian detainees from Israel to the occupied Palestinian territory.
