If I do Archival Sciences I can possibly get work to sign off on it and digital archivists especially are *in demand* BUT my heart truly lies in Genealogy and Heraldry and I fear that if I don't do that now, the one university that offers it will nuke it like the level 7 Apprenticeships

Our landlord tried that last year and when we pointed out we had a rent control clause and that wasn't legal, they threatened us with eviction. We ended up meeting in the middle, but I think the eviction this year might have been some weird punishment. Fucking landlords, scum of the earth.

Most academics will send you a pdf of stuff they've written if you email them and ask nicely, because they hate academic publishing houses as much as we do. 👍

Elizabeth's costumes were SO good. I can't wait to watch it again and pick out all the little details!!

I don't think it quite knocks Crimson Peak off my top spot because that film was chemically engineered in a lab to be My Thing, but I will admit that Frankenstein is more well-rounded and the better film. Every element of it works and is masterful. It will probably grow on me even more on rewatch.

The costume design is particularly phenomenal. I can't wait to see people try and reconstruct it. Kate Hawley is really in her element and deserves ALL the awards.
