Another Western game that had a makeover for PC-98 was Prince of Persia, which was given a polish with high-res EGA graphics (and an extra final boss fight!) by Japan's Arsys Software.

Apparently this is where Jordan Mechner took the Prince's POP2 outfit from! #princeofpersia
