Forgot what it was like to watch a good Pixar movie lmao, legit got teary-eyed a couple times
I loved the fun ideas and how well it kept the scope manageable, felt like it wasn't trying to be some huge event movie
Really solid all around, I'd give it around an 8

Forgot what it was like to watch a good Pixar movie lmao, legit got teary-eyed a couple times

I was surprised how deep in the thick of it this movie is from the beginning
I really liked all the little details that feed into how Metropolis as a world is built, like the way the citizens all talk to Supes like he's their personal friend

Pleasant surprise! The 1st season definitely felt like Disney forced them to make a sitcom before they were allowed to make the show they really wanted with Seasons 2+3, but the cast is great and it wound up being really fun and sprawling!

Fantastic, worth the 44 hours. I love almost every decision this game makes except for hiding important progression behind secret breakable walls that can be almost impossible to spot even when you're actively looking + bilewater runback 9.5/10

Holds up really well! There's a lot of DNA from this show in things that come later (Breaking Bad especially) and even if in some ways it feels like it's just paving the way for storytelling I enjoy even more, I think everything about the way it is fits what it's trying to do.

I've seen a lot of John Green as a personality, so I was surprised at how much traditional YA-novel attitude was in this
It did a pretty great job of depicting the tragedy inherent to this kind of illness in a way that didn't fetishize it, very well done imo

On one hand, fantastic art style, great variety and imagination, this studio's clearly got the juice
