Just listened to Iain Dale complaining about BlueSky on his latest podcast (all-talk with Nadine Dories.....jeez). Apparently he's lost 4000 followers, but doesn't mind so much as they are all "lefty types". Then went on a mini-rant about how it's a rip-off of Xitter and Elon should sue 🤔.

Lot of people praising what a great debate this is. I just can’t agree, there’s a lot of self serving going on to defend what I fear will be the bill not passing and a lot of showboating to boot. National polls shows 70% plus for getting this done, but that doesn’t appear to concern MPs.

UK gov needs to remove all official accounts from Twitter. Musk's clearly manipulating public opinion and can twist the algorithm to show or hide any posts he likes, ban people as he likes and platform criminals. That's not a space where official government announcements should be made.

As I’m currently on gardening leave, I sat in an empty cinema this afternoon and watched ‘The Wild Robot’. Beautiful, brilliant film. May be for kids but a 50 something here loved it. Lots of tears tho.
