First up: two terms that often get mixed up 👇

🔁 Reproducibility = same data, same code
📦 Replicability = new data, same design

Inefficiency can be defined as "productivity differences across homogeneous optimizing agents" or less technical as "A firm is inefficient if the maximum output is not attained given a certain input level".
How would you define (in)efficiency in non-economic terms? #EconSky 📉📈

Dear #EconSky 📉📈
I'm looking for multiple small datasets that could be analyzed with a simple regression setting for a 5th semester course in agribusiness. Focus should be on agricutural production etc. with a farm-level setting (worldwide)
Any suggestions or leads?
Went through agridat already :/

I was recently having a convo about publishing null results. I feel a paper like that should have 3 key elements:

1- ppl should reasonably expect there be an effect
2- estimate should be precise enough to rule out big effects
3- you're able to convince reader null effect is not an artifact

Hi #EconSky and #Agrisky! I am a PhD researcher at the IUSF Uni Osnabreuck (DE). I apply (choice) experimental methods to examine #agecon issues. My research topics deal with 1) farmers' preferences for agri-environment incentives and 2) the underlying behavioural facors shaping these preferences.
