I made these brackets from scratch last week and today I put em’ on the wall and plonked them slabs of Elm on.

Made this thing today, bit of a prototype, thinking I might sell them. Basically stems from me not knowing what to do with clothes I wear a few times before washing. Would obviously be made from nice wood not pine scraps.

I went out on my paddle board last night and it took me an hour to adjust to the tranquility. Just bloody lovely. I had a wee off the side of my board.

The talented artist/photographer who commissioned me to make those oak frames (the ones with the flower/cross tenons) sent me this yesterday. Hoping to see the actual installation next week.

I’ve been working on this for the past few weeks, not my design and I only did a third of the work, but it was great to deliver it today.
