I am curious about things (except cricket). I like animated conversations that are silly or serious. I embrace people who make think or laugh or see things from a new perspective. I love learning from and with others. Human + SL avatar.
Hah! Yoghurt, spices, herbs, super thin chips, capsicum - things!

I like the response buttons New Public offer as quick resonse options to comments. Much better than a heart icon which can feel really awkward at times. Before the now ubiquitious response hearts ❤️ there were stars ⭐️ which felt a little more open to multiple meanings. This is even better.

This envelope is misleading. Before opening it, I'd assumed it was general unbiased information from the Electoral Commission. It's not.

It is information from Peter Dutton/Liberal in federl election. It might be important to some, but definitely not everyone.

Despite my concerns about the world and the Australian election on 3 May, where I see Trump politics being promoted as democracy (it's not - it's removing rights/conditions) and free speech (it's not, it's giving the right to use slurs, and removing safety), the world has delightful moments.

#WomenInSTEM may have been removed from US government websites but women have a history of rolling up their sleeves and getting things done for themselves -- despite opposition and "stacked decks". A new community site popped up to reinstate the missing information womeninstem.us

I will get back to working on my GoS piece. It may yet end up a failed prototype that I need to start over but there's still over 80 days to work on it so I should be ok. BUT a TARDIS would be helpful to capture some more time #gameofshrooms #artnseek #art

It turns out I no longer have any large cake boxes so I had to store it in halves and quarters -- here's the evidence I really did make the cake!

A work harmony day picnic where the conversation turned to a discussion about the opportunities for conversations and building understanding (that is idealky followed by peraonal action) but also, the deficits/harms of tokenistic observance. We also indulged in play in the form of large scale games

It's harmony day. I was given a cookie/biscuit that read 'Be Kind'

The world needs more acts of random kindness -- and good humans

* kindness is not agreeable-compliance
* kind is not the same as 'nice' which has a somewhat subservient door-mat-ish vibe

‪If anyone is looking for good American style pies in Adelaide South Australia, I recommend Proof of Pie on Franklin St | proofofpie.com.au. I shared their pies for work pi day - and at our family/sibling dinner. The general commentary was that they tasted like (good) homemade pie

Musical bingo was fun!

There's a paper plane comp between the two rounds to see who can get their plane to fly straight and far. It was not our planes but I now have a foldery guide, should I go again www.foldnfly.com/lounge/best-...

The small banquet option at Madame Hanoi came with a pretty dessert.

And I do recommend the show I saw after dinner: 'Feeling afraid as if something terribe is going to happen' which starred Samuel Barnett and was Written by Marcelo Dos Santos and Directed by Matthew Xia

Even though I had the Little Golden Toilet Book, Republican's Have 2 Daddies' a political parody with words and illustrations by Landon Reid read aloud online, I thought it was worth purchasing a physical copy if the book - and it arrived on my doorstep today.

I was being adventurous but safe smelling School Term 1. Term 1 is at the start of the year so should not have been THAT bad. I had no intention of smelling term 4. Term 1 assaulted my nostrils, and proving my assumptions wrong, it moved on to attack my taste buds. Gross mod.org.au/exhibits/mem...

The reasons I had to fix Adelaide where it is rn are probs not gonna be chill for everyone right now. But my haters, by picking every little thing, kinda did me a solid by putting all the blame on me. I'm cool with it, though. I'll leave it to future generations, not them, to give cred or be haters.

Banksy challenges conformance of thought and mindless compliance to social norms. Via the works at this exhibition we are invited to graffiti ... and yet no one has. We all are complying with the social rules of an art exhibition. I didn't have a marker, nor a message - so disappointed in myself!
