Enjoyed reading these both at the same time to keep the Throne of Glass train moving. Kingdom of Ash up next!

That’s a wrap on Metaphor ReFantazio. Amazing experience, I miss it already! But at least I can fully focus on Expedition 33.

“If you’re going to tell a ghost story, do it in a dramatic location.”

Hokkaido proved the perfect setting for Ghost of Yōtei's story. Sucker Punch explains why: play.st/43gLBFn

At the tail end of Metaphor ReFantazio and at the beginning of Clair Obscur Expedition 33. RPG heaven right now

Expedition 33 is fantastic so far. They really came in and ate Final Fantasy’s lunch and I’m here for it.

It's been a minute, but still as good as it's ever been.

I’m not sure why the Throne of Glass series gets the ‘romantasy’ label as it’s overall a really damn good fantasy genre entry over anything else. Enjoyed reading Heir of Fire and now moving on to the next one!

Still nothing like it

At this point, probably my all time favorite piano collection for a game, with only Nier Automata and Final Fantasy IX behind it.

Hunter x Hunter quickly becoming top 5 anime to watch while running on the treadmill at the gym. (in all seriousness, it's getting so much more fun than those first initial episodes)

John Oeth strikes again, this time with the timely Suikoden Guitar Collection. Can't wait to jump on the re-releases for Suikoden 1 and 2 later this week!

Finished Project Hail Mary. The premise and initial story beats were pretty interesting, but the last third slowed things way down in which it zoomed more into the science of how things were happening, rather than explore the more interesting concepts left on the table.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is amazing (on ep 6 of 10). It's up there with Spider-Verse in terms of care and attention to the characters, music, story, and animation details. The voice work, performance capture, and camera choices on small and big moments deserves a special shout.

I realized why I fall off X-Men comics when I try to get back into them: the artists are always changing. I get taken out when the art style dramatically changes from issue to issue. Why do they set these up that way? Example from the current Uncanny X-Men run where we go from this, to that.
