Scarab painting with gaelic swirls on wood panel
This is probably the third scarab I've painted, I really enjoy their shapes.
The gold paint was really sheer, but with enough layers I got it to where I wanted. Next time I'm probably gonna use some gilding metal... 😅

I enjoy artist advice not only because its valuable information, but because there’s a sort of human tenderness in seeing how another was able to synthesize their own frustrations. we’re all slamming our heads into the wall until a small “aha” comes out, and I cherish others’ as much as my own.
