I sure hope @madpea.bsky.social gets that Linden Lab money forever because I'm pretty unhappy as a former paid Unlimited. These same day event notices make it impossible to collect the limited edition pins they give out during them. I almost missed the one yesterday and missed the one today. Upset!

I know I ask a lot of critical questions, but I really do love SL in moderate doses. I've spent 90% of my adult life here off and on. I'm not the wide-eyed young adult anymore. I have life experience under my belt and remember the history of things.

I guess I'm getting started on creators. Do you enjoy witch hunts? How about gatekeeping with creator verification badges? Creators want to make SL a less pleasant place for legitimate shoppers to use.

I heard about the creator meeting and I just read Hamlet's marketing interview with Brad and Philip. I own everything I need now. LL is welcome to market to attract new spenders. It's clear they value old spenders/lifetimers less. Don't get me started on creators. I already live in one police state.

1 day left until my 22nd rezday! Today's video is from May 2007, when a group of teen gridders allowed me to take part in one of their traditions. Rumor had it you could launch yourself onto the main grid of #secondlife from TG.

Has anyone seen this Blockbuster Battles TCG at HiVid? Card packs are 249L for 5 cards, collector tins have 10 and a collector card. 5 levels of rarity. 499L for table, 999L/2499L for starter packs. Pretty sure Cards are AI. This rivals RL TCG pricing. WTF? Lag is atrocious here btw.

I don’t want to be the person that only says negative things. There are plenty of good things about SL, and as I approach my 22nd rezday on the 20th, I try to keep them in mind. I’ve given up on getting the lifetimer meeting, am spending less in SL, and taking iPad art classes! January is positive!

I should be happier about all the news, but I already had a head and paid for MadPea Unlimited. What hasn't happened is contact with LL about the Lifetime subscriber meeting for residents. In related news, I'm pretty impressed with how little I've spent this month, so thanks I guess.

Wow I can't believe creators have earned 1.4 billion this year! That sounds like a lot of money. I guess that's why my $200/mo(ish) doesn't merit a consumer meeting. Oh well.
