To be clear, the "stupid" ideas shared by this 25-year-old "kid" included "I was racist before it was cool," "I want a eugenic immigration policy," and "normalize indian hate."

What Vance is saying is that openly calling yourself a racist eugenicist is no longer enough to be labeled a "bad dude."

Commute times along a few key routes into lower Manhattan are noticeably shorter after the start of congestion pricing. MTA estimated that it would mean 80,000 fewer vehicles entering the area EACH DAY. Better for people living there, people who actually need to drive, and the planet.

On Thursday, an alleged criminal facing multiple charges was seen being escorted in Manhattan by heavily armed and armored police. No, not Luigi Mangione — I mean Eric Adams, who faces charges of bribery, corruption, and illegal campaign contributions.

You've likely heard that UnitedHealthcare allegedly denies ~1/3 of claims. That's not even the worst. According to ProPublica reporting, one company denied 80% of claims made in 2020. https://buff.ly/3CjWskZ

In order to meet its target of 82,000 new units of housing by 2031, San Francisco would have needed to approve ~854 units per month starting January 2023. It has approved fewer than that in the entirety of 2024 so far

Under the leadership of recently assassinated CEO Brian Thompson, United Healthcare introduced an AI tool to unilaterally deny patients coverage despite the advice of doctors, with an alleged error rate of 90%. Does that make him a murderer, too? Or does the suffering of these victims not count?

Georgians are protesting bc the ruling Georgian Dream party is delaying the country’s bid to join the European Union, which polls show is widely popular. The move is seen as a concession to Russia, which in 2008 invaded Georgia, and still occupies 1/5 of its internationally recognized territories.

It's really hard to understand why those who can acknowledge that the mainstream coverage of gay rights was bad refuse to accept the same in regards to current coverage of trans rights

Killing people is bad. So perhaps news outlets will mention the fact that America's private health system — upheld by wealthy insurers, their lobbyists, and politicians — leads to tens of thousands of deaths every year. Don't hold your breath.

Liberal failure to deal with housing is one of the most important crises facing America. It’s already pushing people right — literally, as folks are forced to leave blue states bc of housing costs. If not solved by 2030 census blue states will lose several seats in the House. Absolutely critical.

Here is a recent photo of an Israeli minister touring the Gaza Strip. The IDF currently controls an area the size of Tel Aviv in the middle of Gaza, splitting the Palestinian territory in half. Another sign that settlements are the plan — illegal, but supported by many in the US right.
