EPIC Trump trolling by Gavin Newsom.

😭☠️😭 #TACOTrump #Pinks

It would be awesome if all Democratic politicians did this to get under Donald Trump’s (aka Tiny Taco Hands) skin!

This is a brilliant idea, and the UI is lovely.
I built a dashboard of internet-connected gauges to show me data - here's what each of them does - a thread🧵

You cannot determine whether you saved or cost money based solely on one side of the ledger.

Example: I saved my household $2K by not paying the mortgage.

Want to hire a good frontend developer? Here's the trick:

💡In your job posting, ask for someone who is skilled in writing "HTML" and "CSS".

Your posting will be the only one mentioning these secret technologies and will instantly stand out

How much Elon Musk makes from the government a day: $8 million.

How much a senior on Social Security gets a day: $65

Guess which budget Musk and Trump want to cut?

Encyclopædia Britannica will continue to use ‘Gulf of Mexico’ for a few reasons:

-We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S.

-The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous.

How much do Super Bowl ads cost again?
With reports that Elon will run ads about “government waste” today, it would be good to do some basic inoculation with friends who’ll watch the Super Bowl.

It can be as basic as “Musk, the Nazi-saluting liar, will run Super Bowl ads today. Don’t believe him.”

Don’t assume everyone already knows.

fuck spotify. it would probably be better for pretty much every artist you like if you pirated a bunch of stuff to start an offline library and then started slowly buying your way through all those albums 🫠

The TikTok ban, the Musk Twitter takeover, the Facebook moderation policy changes, the Republicans’ rapidly intensifying crackdowns on speech... let these be the proof you needed to move anything you care about online to a space you control.

Digital sovereignty is more important than ever.

I want to add that having to leave an app, go to email, then _wait_ for an email to arrive will cost someone with ADHD at least an hour of their life every single time.

I've decided to refocus on making free resources.

I support this sentiment.
fascinating/depressing investigation - this is the future of all media if people keep paying platforms rather than artists

if you want my music on streaming, learn to pirate it instead 😎
