Also, probably not something everyone knows, but the Solnhofen Archipelago isn't one homogeneous site. its several formations that stretch across Bavaria. We decided to focus on Altmühltal or the Solnhofen limestone in the strict sense, but Mörnsheim, Painten, and Torleite have amazing fauna too.

Something I learned from working with @joschuaknuppe.bsky.social and @seismic-shrimp.bsky.social with researching formations and paleontological localities for the Formation Pieces is just how many amazing sites there are. We have so far drawn over 70 murals and have a lot more we could draw 1/2

The stratigraphy of the Judith is sadly very messy and needs a lot of dedicated love and Research in order to figure out large scale correlates between it and Dinosaur Park, Oldman, and Foremost. This map I made shows how messy the stratigraphy can be.

some maps I made for the Kayenta formation and Morrison formation surface exposures from a bunch of data. I would love some corrections. The red in Colorado in the first image represents the area I have not found a map showing the specific kayenta exposure (if anyone knows a map i would love it)

I'm really anxious about missing the 1st week of school this semester, but I've still been putting a lot of effort into my study even here in the UK. Here is something that represents the history of my field: the first ever dinosaur named, the original type of Iguanodon at the NHMUK.

I made a little diagram of various Chinese Lagerstätten (plus Sinuiju in North Korea) in comparison to each other temporarily. Take this with a huge grain of salt since I mainly did this for fun, but I still think the chart turned out visually pleasing.
