An uncanny face (close to human but not quite) staring directly at the viewer. Off-kilter angled lines replace the skin texture so that only the eyes, holes of the nose, and painted smile are discernable. All I can say is it was a swing on fire. No idea what it is now.

Basically this:

Re: happy accidents: we can't exactly say that intentionality is a crucial part of making something a photograph or art, because the Monkey Selfie is a great photo, and many would say art, but it was definitely unintentional.
