Been listening to PBS this morning and I'm not gonna pretend I understand the details of gender affirming care, I just know it stops kids from being suicidal and honestly isn't that enough? More people living full lives is always a net positive

It's weird how death almost always bundles up to me, my childhood friends mom also passed earlier this month. Kind of makes me brace myself every time my family and friends have news right now.

My godmother passed and I inherited all her Christmas baubles. Way too much to decorate my apartment with, she was buying new things all the way up to the end. It's gonna be a weird service, almost her entire family is in Greenland and can't make it.

How would you have fixed Netflix' Iron Fist? First off, I'd probably actually have done the dragon. I don't know why they left out the dragon. 2, make Danny Asian-American. He can still be fish out of water in K'un Lun just fine that way. 3? Maybe don't take an entire season to finish his origin

Currently reading a trade of the early Iron Fist comics (Marvel epic collection Iron Fist volume 1) and it's narrated in the second person? What a weird choice, I usually only see this stuff in choose your own adventure books

My biggest plea for you guys is to unionize. If you have a job, unionize. If you and your coworkers stand shoulder to shoulder, back to back, you will get through this. If Nixon dismantled it, it can only be good.

I genuinely don't know what to do from here, just know that we are many overseas who don't belittle America for this and we hope for the best. The US is a big part of my life, I have family there and your culture is present in almost everything in my day to day. Be safe.

A child decided to try and tear down the library kids play castle today by kicking it repeatedly. Thankfully he was only 4 years old. Noisy though.
