The Chinese meadow rue has just started blooming! 🌱
Not bad for something that got completely deracinated by storms last year.
Small lilac, bell-shaped flowers in bloom, with some just opening to reveal yellow pistils.

🌱 mid-western long-lived #native #Amsonia jonesii has narrower leaves than many of the periwinkle related Bluestar Dogbanes.
A clump of narrow leaved Dogbane, Amsonia jonesii with pslr blue, almost white star flowers.
