And....caturday 3: Emma and I (and by default, poor Frank) adopted this 3yo peach-n-cream boy, California refugee. Name to come when he's settled in enough that we have a better sense of him beyond SWEET (and stop fighting about calling him the Abiding Dude - Emma says no and I say yes).

Caturday, part 2....Last week, took care of my parents' cat, Villanelle (beauty + psychopathy). My father's feeding instructions: a prescribed variety of foods and snacks distributed across FOUR feeding times. I hope she doesn't take violent revenge for a week long "efficiency" detour.

This by a teenage girl, as part of an art program...the artist is Lisolethu Pamla, and she titled it Mending the unexpected. On display at the Zeit museum of contemporary African art in Cape Town. It works for me on so many levels/layers.
