I can assure you the labor cost for a one-time performance in any space in that building that involved simply moving a piano & providing basic audio support (mic for singer & amplification of said piano) would not come anywhere close to $30k, or $10k, or even $5k.

No, the meeting did not go badly for Ukraine. It exposed in the most undeniable, unequivocal way possible the pro-Putin commitments of the president and vice president. That was information Americans and allies needed to have clear before them.

At the United Nations the good ole USA voted against a resolution demanding Russia leave Ukraine. We were joined in the vote by Russia, Hungary, Belarus, and North Korea. We are not the good guys anymore.
