Fantasy, RPGs, video games, terrible puns, and Oxford Comma. Both more and less grumpy than I look.

I don't really agree. A perfect rating doesn't do anything, this review isn't even negative in content, and the game might get more eyes on it than it had in half a year. I'd call it a beneficial prank at worst, unless it sparks a trend, as slow news days and gamers care too much about Steam reviews

It will probably help the game more than it hurts it. At least now people will at least hear about it, as opposed to it being lost to Steam's indie oblivion.

I remember trying to read 2e Infernals way back when, but I also remember giving up. The manuscripts for 3e on the hand have me going "oh, that's rad" every other paragraph.

I think I'd've got tired of Himmel's vibrant protagonistiness if the story was about the journey to kill the Demon King, but he is a fantastic character to view every now and then through Frieren's memories.

A great contribution to my "genuine heroes are interesting characters, actually" phase.

Watching for the first time, I thought Himmel got hit with a case of "All my friends and Zoidberg", "three people with jobs and he is also there", but I was being a fool.

The story really hammers home that it wasn't that Himmel contributed nothing, it's that his job actually was being The Hero.

Ooh, Flambae had a little bit of Quicksilver thing going on originally. Quite fitting. They would love to be annoyed at each other at all times.

The Z-team was wonderful indeed :) Dispatch is one of the best performed games I can remember, and I still have Expedition 33 in active memory.

I'm guessing it's about Alanah Pearce being revealed as the VA for the Sister of Battle in Boltgun 2. In which case: rock on, she did great in Dispatch.
