FRANKENSTEIN (2025) - it's Del Toro in workmanlike rather than genius mode here but it's still very worth your time imo. Some gorgeous images, two great central performances (Oscar Isaac in some senses maybe reinterpreting his role in Ex Machina?), and plenty of blood and guts

i used a steel chopstick to stir it, and managed eventually, but even then it felt like it was going to snap at times. anyway it's mostly homogenised now and it's in the fridge so hopefully it'll stay that way

i can see why they were selling off this peanut butter cheap in Heron Foods now. It's REALLY nice but this packaging is wildly impractical. Awkward to open, and stirring the oil back in was tough because of the sheer volume of rock hard peanut solids

found a parcel behind our plant pots, looked inside and it's from the solicitors we used to buy the house. Inside the package was an archive of all their files from the transaction -- ok -- but also including THE FUCKING ORIGINAL DEEDS TO THE HOUSE.
