I'm sick of hearing about the midterm elections. First, a lot of damage will be done by then. Second, the current administration is acting like they'll be in power for a long time. Third, even if there are elections, I'm rightfully skeptical of the "blue wave" they're counting on.

I think rolling anxiety attacks, interrupted by panic attacks, is currently reasonable. Unpleasant, but reasonable.

I read an article decades ago about getting your child to comply, so you give them the "illusion of choice". Tell them they can pick the blue outfit or the red outfit. You're still in control of their choice, but they think they've chosen, meaning less fighting with them. Sound familiar?
