10 years ago Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was released. Perfected gameplay, but sadly the story got Konami’d. I was at the London review camp for the game in summer of 2015 and it was a great and unique experience. #gaming

Thank you Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Was an amazing two and a half days of best collectible cars in the world, incredible sertings and fantastic people. I’m putting it on my ”auto-reply: I’ll always say yes” list of events along with Goodwood.

Driven this week: JAC E30X. I think JAC is currently the latest Chinese brand to arrive in Finland. Not quite as stripped down and barebones as the Dongfeng Nammi Box, despite both having names that remind us of sweets and being priced in the mid 20k euros. #cars

Finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and managed to do both endings. That was certainly a memorable story and world and game, even if it might not quite make it to GOTY. #gaming

Visited Classic Motorshow in Lahti. Was a little busy with an interview and meeting a bunch of people to actually stare at the cars, but my account balance is more in line with the cafeteria offerings anyway. Couple of very beige Fiats for image tax. #cars

I went from a "Jim Rowan" Volvo EX90 to a "Håkan Samuelsson" Volvo XC90 just as Volvo rolled back its CEO. Neither are perfect, and the XC90 is getting quite old, but still does a lot of things better (and importantly, more Volvo) than the EX90. #cars

Finally tried the Viltrox 16/1.8 I got myself for Christmas to push me back into doing occasional astrophotography. Beautifully made and not too shabby optically either. Did not have the energy to look for any actual compositions so I just took it to a place I know.

Off on sick leave since Valentine’s but managed to finish my Fiat Grande Panda review before. Great, happy little car. The 4x4 is coming too. Test drives started from the roof of the legendary Lingotto (ex-) factory. #cars

There’s a certain unexpected pointyness from certain angles.
But I think Ii saw that car in the Alfa museum last summer (ran through during Veloce launch) and it looked much better than I remembered.

Wrote yesterday my thing on "The Electric G-wagen", getting published tomorrow. Little bit limited as a tool, but it's the ultimate feelgood car, even better than the Maybach EQS SUV. And the full name is Mercedes-Benz G 580 EQ, because screw that Mercedes-EQ EQ EQ nonsense.
