Balata was established in 1950 to house 5000 Palestinian refugees. It's 0.25 km2/0.38sqm and now houses more than 32 000 people, in houses built upwards when the space ran out. It's also where I had the best falafel sandwich in my life. 🧆

The way Israel use these children as propaganda is worrying. I hope she will come home to her family. Hopefully Israel won't make her into a propaganda-object then, as they are now. We all need to remember children are held hostage. But propaganda isn't the way to do it.
